At Access Community Services, we believe society is enriched by an inclusive, multicultural and diverse community. We are a leader when it comes to addressing the barriers between migrants, refugees and people with a disability and employment, with our social enterprises.
Access currently operates 5 social enterprises in South East Queensland, offering migrants and asylum seekers the chance to learn new skills, earn an income and secure sustainable employment.
AES Building and Maintenance
Since 2012, AES Building and Maintenance has been providing professional building and maintenance solutions to companies all over South East Queensland, as well as employment opportunities for countless people in the linguistically and culturally diverse community.
AES provides a range of high quality services, including:
building of low-rise dwellings
corporate maintenance services
Harmony Cafès and Harmony on Wheels
The three Harmony Cafès and our mobile food truck, Harmony on Wheels, provide a positive (and delicious!) dining experience while providing opportunities for disadvantaged job seekers, including people with disability, migrants, refugees and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The cafès provide hands-on training and employment in roles such as kitchen-hand, barista and wait staff.
Our three cafes are located in Yarrabilba, Logan Central and Woolloongabba.
